Berwickshire News and General Advertiser – German Prisoner of War escapes from Stobs

Otto Sohlmann, a German subject and a Petty Officer in the German Navy escaped from Stobs Camp on 30th April / 1st May. Aged 24, he is of fresh complexion, blond hair and grey eyes. He is of stout build and 5ft 2.5 ins tall. He was wearing a naval uniform or corduroy suit with blue patch.
