Berwickshire News and General Advertiser – Royal Scots march from Stobs to Mordington

3 August 1909

Two companies of Royal Scots under the command of Brevet Colonel C H P Carter encamped at Mordington having marched from Stobs under the charge of two scoutmasters attached to them.   In total, there were five officers, 165 NCOs and men and seven horses.  On Monday the Royal Scots continued to Greenriggs.

Near the village of Branxton, two companies of Royal Scots consisting of five officers and 150 NCOs and men encamped on their march from Stobs to Berwick.
