    The ninth edition begins with a poem entitled Hope. It goes on to describe the Christmas Review which ends with a statement from one of the prisoners “This performance was a pleasure. It gave me the happiest two hours of my captivity.” From the Military Camp mentions various news items and events including a celebration on January 7th of the King Ludwig III of Bavaria.     The eighth edition begins with the poem New Year. It details tasteful designs, usefulness, and pricing of objects for sale particularly mentioning Marquetry, Woodwork, Toys, Ships, Bone Carving, Oil Painting, book-binding, and needlework. Followed by an editorial on Welfare Institutions in the Civilian Camp. Another article appears called From the Military Camp which gives details of performances from the Orchestra, the choir “Land and Sea”, and others.It ends with news and advertisements.
