• Stobsiade Military, Issue No. 3 (17)

    The third edition of the Military Stobsiade begins with a poem called Take Heed. The third edition tries, in the article Stobs Dreams and in the poem Swiss Fever to reflect the mood which the “Swiss days” aroused in the lives of the prisoners. Getting to understand Our Post will, with Christmas coming up soon, be welcome for friends back home. – In the Camp Chronicle is a summary of the many lectures which have been given since the start of the winter half year. Club reports are then given by the Drama Club, and Theatre Friends. It ends with announcement, Letter Box, Puzzle Corner, and several advertisements. Full edition available here.

     
  • Stobsiade Military, Issue No. 2 (16)

    The Second Military Edition includes a discussion of the Stobs Exhibition of the Decorative Arts, which highlights the good things which are being achieved in the decorative arts here, and in doing so should also provide some motivation. As the weather is now bringing an end to outdoor sport, the Camp Chronicle gives a comprehensive report about physical activity during the past summer. The article “Working for the Future” draws attention to the great value to be gained by attending our school. It is a forerunner of a more comprehensive appreciation of the camp school, its setup and objectives. The poem “Prisoner of War’s Autumn Walk” and the atmospheric picture “By Lamplight” reflect the autumn in Stobs. It concludes with notices, letter box, puzzle corner and advertisements.   • Stobsiade Civilian, Issue No. 14

    The fourteenth edition begins with a poem called Changement de Decoration. Followed by an editorial about Stobs Garden which mentions the plundering wild rabbits. Hut Revue mentions a gentleman called Hans Piepebrink dancing through the hut, and discusses hut dynamics. The next section is called In the Editorial Office of the Stobsiade, which exists in the corner of a hut. It ends with a poem Contradicto in adjecto, and a section called From the editors.
