    Berwickshire News and General Advertiser – Ex Stobs guards seriously wounded in action 12 November 1918 Private William Aitchison, seriously wounded in action, had been a guard at Stobs Camp before going to Ireland and then to France.

    Berwickshire News and General Advertiser – Stobs referred to as the Aldershot of Scotland 24 March 1903 Confirmation that the Berwickshire Battalion and the Border Rifles will camp at Stobs, now being referred to as the “Aldershot of Scotland”.

    The second addition begins with an address to the prisoners form the Editors, this time it talks of how people in Stobs keep themselves busy. It goes on to include a short message to the readers in Germany. Local news about a fire drill and a prisoner’s wife giving birth to triplets. There is then a section called Berlin Stobs Aphorisms with several sayings. The Letter box appears again offering critique as to why certain works were not published and it lists the winners of the poetry contest. It ends with advertisements. Full edition available here.
