    In connection with the camp exhibition which is taking place, the twentieth edition contains an article “Some Comments on Arts and Crafts”, followed by reports about the activities of the various institutions in the camp during the winter. The article about the Camp School is followed by reports which the individual clubs have provided. The edition closes on the 20th of April. The arts and crafts article is rather specialised. The article on the school indicates that is was still very active at this time. The article on the clubs is the most comprehensive one to be found in any of the newspapers.   • Stobsiade Military, Issue No. 19 (33)

    The Nineteenth Edition contains an article which expresses our thanks for an advent calendar published by the German Welfare Organisation for Prisoners of War in Bern. It has an advertisement for the Exhibition for Crafts, the Decorative Arts and the School which will take place in May. Another essay is and excerpt “From the Diary of a War Volunteer”. This edition closes on the 8th of March. It ends with notices and a puzzle corner. Full edition available here.

    The eighteenth edition contains a portrayal of the camp: “Stobs in the Snow”, a report about the camp library, and a “Story from Distant Times” which is rather like a fairy tale. It also includes a short extract from the annual report of the Relief Committee of the Society of Friends for needy Germans, Austrians and Hungarians. Full edition available here.
