Kelso Chronicle – Escape of three German prisoners of war from Stobs Camp 29 October 1915 Three German sailors escaped on Tuesday from the war camp at Stobs near Hawick. Their names are Alfred Joksch, Emil Stehr and Karl Villbraudt.
