  • In the News: King’s Prizeman at Stobs

    Edinburgh Evening News – King’s Prizeman at Stobs 27 July 1914 Sergeant Dewar arrived in Hawick to be greeted by the Officers and Men of 4th and 5th Royal Scots and strains of the tune “See the conquering hero come”, played by the band of the 4th. On reaching Stobs he was carried shoulder high through the camp.
