Hawick News – Prisoners of War Arrive at Stobs Camp

6 November 1914

The first batch of German prisoners arrived at Stobs Camp on Monday 2 November 1914 accompanied by a military escort. Others will be brought as accommodation is prepared. The prisoners marched to the camp from Hawick Railway Station.
