Kelso Chronicle – German Prisoner at Stobs gets married

Paul Biesene, a banker’s clerk, whose marriage to Maria, daughter of the late Henry Walters, wine merchant of London, was solemnised at the RC Church here in Hawick. His address was given as Stobs camp. He came with an escort and then returned to the camp after the ceremony.
