Kelso Chronicle – 1st Newfoundland Contingent Arrives at Stobs Camp

Officers and men of the 1st Newfoundland Contingent at Stobs Camp received a visit on Monday from Lord Roay (Lord Lieutenant of Roxburghshire) and other dignities (Lord and Lady Polwarth) / military personnel (Brigadier-General McIntyre, CO 12th Reserve Infantry Brigade) and Mrs McIntyre. The men were paraded for inspection under command of Colonel R H Burton.
