Edinburgh Evening News – Night and Day operations at Stobs

The 7th and 9th Royal Scots march out from Stobs for manoeuvres starting at 7:00pm and lasting all night. The 7th commanded by Colonel Peebles and Captain Smith would make an attack in the area of Barnes and Cogsmill while the 9th under command of Colonel Blair and Captain Lucas would put up a defence.
