Kelso Chronicle – 5,000 Territorial Army soldiers arrive at Stobs

Sunday witnessed the arrival of about 5000 members of the Territorial Army at Stobs Camp made up of Battalions of the Lothian Infantry Brigade under the command of Colonel H F Kays with Captain W G Neilson, the Brigade Major, with the encampment stretching from Acreknowe at Winningtonrig. Weather was favourable during the arrival of the battalions. Several church parades held in the afternoon and evening.
