Berwickshire News and General Advertiser – Two privates from Second King’s Own Scottish Borderers charged with breaking and entering

At Hawick Burgh Court on Monday, James McKame and Thomas Healy, privates in the 2nd King’s Own Scottish Borderers [KOSB], Stobs Camp, were remitted to the Sheriff on a charge of breaking into the licensed premises of Walter Ballantyne, grocer, Buccleuch Street early on Saturday morning, and stealing therefrom one pint bottle of whisky, three quart show bottles, and a wooden stand.
