The Southern Reporter – Two German prisoners

Two German prisoners who escaped form the Stobs Camp on Saturday were captured early on Sunday morning on the public road between Douglasburn and the Gordon Arms in Yarrow, Selkirkshire, by Constables Meikle of Innerleithen and Scott of Benger Burn. They were brought to Innerleithen, and afterwards returned to Stobs Camp.
